About Us

Our Mission

To exceed our client’s expectations by providing an uncommon level of customer service and commitment that changes the standard to which property management professionals are held.

Richard Perry, CMCA®, AMS®

Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA)

Administered by the National Board for Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM)

(703) 836-6902, http://www.nbccam.org/

NBC-CAM has developed the only national certification program to recognize those individuals who have demonstrated the fundamental knowledge to manage community associations. To become a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), a candidate must successfully complete a 16-hour course and pass the National Certification Examination. Managers must adhere to the CMCA Standards of Professional Conduct and obtain 16 hours of continuing education credits every two years to remain certified.

Association Management Specialist (AMS)

Administered by the Community Associations Institute (CAI) (703) 548-8600, www.caionline.org

The AMS designation is the second tier of the pyramid of professionalism for community association managers. It builds upon the CMCA's fundamental knowledge with requirements for added education and verified experience in the field. To become an AMS designee, a candidate must earn and maintain the CMCA certification, successfully complete 16 hours of course work in CAI's Professional Management Development Program and demonstrate two years of professional management experience. An Association Management Specialist must comply with the CAI Professional Code of Ethics and complete 24 hours of advanced-level continuing education courses every three years.

Community Management Professionals was founded in 2013 by Richard Perry, based on his personal experience as a Board Member and President of his homeowners association, as well as his experience as a portfolio manager with two management firms. Based on those needs, he formed Community Management Professionals in 2013. Richard is certified as both an CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) and AMS (Association Management Specialist).

Free Integrated Banking Services
Members can pay assessments online using credit cards, electronic checks, or direct debit from their bank account…. Reduces collections and improves member satisfaction. Community Management Professionals manages Association financial assets on-line…Timely cash management improves earnings and keeps cash earning interest.

Known Management Fees
Community Management Professionals fees are flat monthly amounts. Community Management Professionals does not have hidden administrative costs added to the monthly fee. No “office supplies”, “office costs”, “storage of association’s documents”, fax, telephone, invoices, checks or postage markups like other management firms. NO hidden costs.

Monthly Community Inspections

Standard…Simply put, anything less is substandard and does not provide the oversight necessary to proactively manage the maintenance and community enforcement policies. Community Management Professionals utilizes state of the art software loaded on tablets and smartphones for up-date information on each of their managed properties.

Board, Officer, and Volunteer Education
Community Management Professionals offers Board members formal and continuing education on all facets of Association operations. Knowledge is the key to successful community operations and involvement.
